From Jan. 1978 to Oct. 1983, 1853 patients with advanced esophageal cancer were treatedby radiotherapy. All the cases were confirmed by pathology.
1978年1月至1983年10月对病理证实、资料完整而首次收治的中、晚期食管癌1853例施行了单纯放疗，其中存活10年以上的110例，生存率为5．9％。
